Roles and Responsibilities

  • Handling entire State Operations from agronomy aspect.
  • Support/Advise on technical queries and handling complaints as escalated by the technical support staff/advisor.
  • Sale promotion support: Floor support, Product sales budget briefing, Identify training need and facilitate necessary trainings
  • Co-ordinate with Call centre Manager/State Head Operations & HR to effectively implement & execute Technical training Plan so as to equip CSRs with necessary technical training based on season/product to handle farmer enquiries effectively & efficiently.
  • Stay updated with current market trends, agriculture related information or requirements, changes and updates.
  • Work closely with Procurement, Marketing, Field Sales, Call Centre for preparation of Crop Calendar & Sales plan activity. Perform other duties as required by the Business and helping in state revenue generation
  • Understand customer VOC by regularly listening to CSR Calls, planning field visits with Field team for any mega farmer meeting etc & develop plan of actions & recommendations accordingly. As Responses Accuracy: Schedule audit with QA team for all Advisor’s responses including calls & App reply on regular basis to achieve >99% accuracy.
  • Contribute towards technical projects related to data verification, uploading, and content by closely working with In-house Tech /External agency like Image processing or other projects.
  • Building technical capability of team through training. Support Content Enrichment : Report field issues (Pest incidence / outbreak), and seek feedback from farmers and update COE team on daily basis as process.
  • Act as technical advisor for Farmers on Agro Star products & services , supporting field demos and field days .
  • Performance Query Management: Attend Calls, Follow up calls, Gold Service calls, Ensure all queries resolved within 48 hours
  • GS Farmers Outreach: Conduct  regular webinars ( at least 2 / month or more )  with focused  GS customers  & also for other farmers to adopt Gold services
  • Hiring of advisors for New states and conduct preliminary training

Key Requirements

  • MSc(Agri) in Seed technology,Pathology,Entomology,Agronomy,Soil science
  • Relevant experience should be minimum 4 years.
  • Should be proficient in Gujarati language.
  • Sound knowledge of techno commercial crops of the state
  • Good co-ordination skills with internal and external stake holder
  • Should be team player leading team of Agronomist
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Should be Adaptable, Initiative taker, good interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Highly efficient in stress management
