In a brief to get closer to our customers while keeping our core promise of agronomy first and genuine products, AgroStar has launched its new line of Business- AgroStar Retail Stores wef July 2020. With 6 stores across 3 states and multiple stores launching every month we are now looking for an AVP - who will be our entrepreneur in residence to take this vertical to 150 stores in a very short span of time. A key player in driving revenue and growth for the organization. 

Job Responsibilities :

The AVP of Retail Sales at AgroStar will be at the forefront of driving this new line of business for AgroStar and will be :

  1. Deeply involved in strategizing the sales plan, budgets and financials for all our stores across states and ensure sales numbers are exceeded month on month
  2. With deep understanding of customer engagement, run innovative programs to ensure WOW customer service in all our stores
  3. End to end management of store operations will be a key responsibility through a dedicated team of 15-20 area and state retail sales managers.
  4. Strategising and closely working with the marketing team on campaigns and promotions across stores
  5. Working closely with our farm solutions and other allied teams to understand products & their market dynamics to deliver an experience differentiated from anything in the market. 

To be an Ideal candidate for this position you will need :

  1. 13-15 years of experience in Sales & Operations with at least 7-8 years of relevant experience in working with retail sales. Experience/ exposure in managing stores across states is mandatory. 
  2. An extreme Hustle driven approach - This is going to be a startup within a startup
  3. Team Management - will be managing a team of 15-20 employees across states.
  4. Excellent analytical skills .
  5. This role requires collaboration with multiple stakeholders , hence ability to collaborate is critical. 
  6. Bringing in continuous innovation and rapid scale is essential.
  7. Key understanding on operations, sales and logistics management of stores, in depth knowledge of handling and managing  franchises.
