 A. Roles and Responsibilities

1. Agriculture professional with sound techno commercial skills with ability to lead a team of Agriculture experts in Farm Solutions team of State operations
2. Finding effective solutions of different crop issues that meet commercial requirements of the states & provide technical support to crop advisors for handling complaints & ensure effective solution within defined timelines.
3. Sale support for Agrostar E- platform team: ensure floor support, prepare Product sales budget planning & briefing and actively involved in seasonal/Regional crop planning with team.
4. Identify training need and facilitate necessary trainings of his own team and also Sales/Field/offline Store team and ensure effective translation into the sales.
5. Efficiently coordination with various teams including Procurement, Marketing field sales, Offline stores to achieve sales target of state.
6. Effectively participation in the projects related to onboarding of new products/services& further contribute for the creation of effective marketing tools for App, Retail store, online and offline businesses in the state
7. Stay updated with current market trends, agriculture related information or requirements, changes and updates in regulatory aspects and government orders the state.

Key Requirements

1. Person should be MSc Agriculture preferably in the area of Agronomy or Horticulture, or Entomology or Pathology from a reputed university.
2. He should be having minimum 4-5 years relevant field experience in sales and product development.
3. He should be having good People management experience by handling a team of agriculture professional in the state
4. Outstanding techno commercial skills and sound knowledge of Agriculture situation in the state and various crops season and best agronomic practices in the state
5. Strong interpersonal skills with ability of building effective networking and relationship with internal and external stakeholder
6. Possess solid analytical, problem-solving capability, and decision-making skills and greater adaptability in new environment.
7. Result oriented and move fast attitude to deliver results in defined timelines.
