Product Management at Agrostar is all about Customer Obsession. The Product lead will be spearheading all our sales driven products (Agroex, Genie, Internal CRM and more !) All our products are driven towards providing the best possible experience to our end user - farmers. The product lead will be playing a critical role in getting neck deep in solving complex problems related to our products, getting them streamlined with full focus in providing a 7 star experience to our farmers. Job Responsibilities

  • Innovation:  Overseeing the innovation and improvement of the business’s product as well as the day-to-day product activities in such a way that ensures that the product is constantly growing to suit the consumers’ needs.
  • Product Conceptualization : Ensures conceptualization from a platform and a long-term view with a problem first, data-driven and test & iterate approach.
  • Collaboration: A high level of collaboration with different departments and different levels will be required. Work very closely with the engineering department, design, sales, marketing, and other departments to deliver the business’s product into the market.
  • Product/Market Evaluation:  Responsible for spearheading investigation and analyses on the product and the product market. The candidate is then expected to process this information, identify opportunities, and present these to the leadership team.
  • Problem Resolution:  Apart from identification, responsibility to resolve  strategic issues, which potentially impair the whole department’s ability to meet the product’s financial, strategic and technical goals
  • Set and reinforce product goals: Actively monitor key business metrics and adjust team priorities as appropriate to deliver on financial and customer adoption goals.
  • Coach & mentor PMs, APMs and/or Product operations.

Job Requirements:

  • The candidate must have 8-10 years of experience in product management Preferably; this experience will be inclusive of at least 5 years experience in leading product teams and product strategy.
  • Engineering Background with mandatory. MBA will be preferred.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven approach in day-to-day work. 
  • Strong leadership skills with an ability to move  peers as well as juniors and have them follow a common vision.
  • Experience working on sales generating products will be preferred.
