Role & Responsibilities:

  1. Design and execute weekly, monthly and quarterly procurement plans for the entire product portfolio in category.
  2. Work closely to plan and execute annual import plans for various products across the category.
  3. Collaborate with the sales functions and finance control department to ensure the inventory optimization across the category.
  4. Closely connect with the farmers and work with the content team to ensure the best communication strategy to sell products.
  5. Collaborate across functions for successful launch of new products and take handover of vendors from the product development team.
  6. Manage relationships with existing vendors to ensure the timely and quality procurement across the category.
  7.    Work with the sales team to co-design offers, campaigns and marketing plans to achieve the category budget.

Requirements:

  1. Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel or any other tool, data analysis and procurement planning.
  2. A hustler who can wear multiple hats at the same time.
  3. Experience of handling a small team would be an added advantage.
  4. Experience of working in an E-commerce category or consumer durables role especially at a scale would be an added advantage.
  5. Experience of imports planning and/or execution would be an added advantage.
  6.    Willing to travel across 5 operational states occasionally.
  7. 3-5 years experience in Category roles.
